National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was established by the UGC in September 1994 at Bangalore for evaluating the performance of the Universities and Colleges in the Country.

Today , 26 April 2023, St. Aloysius College Alumni Associations (SACAA) Mangalore organised a Felicitation Programme of Staff with 25 years of dedicated and committed Service to St Aloysius Institution.

46 Staff members representing 6 different sections of the institution were felicitated with Memento, Sash, Certificate of Appreciation and a hamper.

President of SACAA Shri Sunil Kunder, Secretary Shri Anil Kumar, SACAA Patron and Rector Rev Fr Melwin J Pinto SJ, SACAA Director and Principal Rev Dr Praveen Martis SJ, Convener Dr Richard Gonsalves , Rev Fr Clifford SJ and Rev Fr John SJ were on the dais and felicitated the staff.

Prof.Edmund Frank our Vice President of JAAI on his mission-visiting St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappali (Madurai province) to collect materials and photographs on the great Indian Jesuit Rev.Fr.Jerome D’Souza SJ one of the signatories to the constitution of India, and who was  the Principal of St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapalli and Loyola College, Chennai.
