An initiative to recognise and inspire the Jesuit Alumni network across India
The JAAI Award is a novel concept proposed to be introduced at the national level and awarded triennially
Its purpose is to recognize exceptional work in strengthening the Jesuit Alumni network and inspire associations to align with JAAI objectives.

- Knowledge Sharing: Provides an opportunity for JAAI to bestow recognition and share best practice
- Healthy Competition: Fosters positive competition to help associations grow and innovate
- Strengthening Network: Encourages activities that further strengthen the alumni community across the country.

- Alumni: Bona fide alumni of a Jesuit Alumnae Association registered with JAAI
- Associations: Bona fide alumni association registered with JAAI
- Institutes: Jesuit Institute being run by Jesuits
- Employees: Individuals in the employ of a Jesuit Institute / Jesuit Alumnae association registered with JAAI
Award Categories
Eligibility: Must be a registered JAAI association. The activity must benefit a deprived section of society locally, with quantifiable benefits.
1.1 Social Champion Award (Association) Awarded
For standalone activity impacting society, without support
from other organizations except their alma mater. Joint applications can be made if more than one alumni association collaborated for a single cause.

Eligibility: Registered associations where alumni played a key role in a project benefiting the institute or its students Requires acknowledgement from the Head of the Institution
2.1 Evolving Education Award
For sustainable initiatives that help the institute impart 21st-century education. The ultimate beneficiar should be the students of the institute.

2.2 Landmark Legacy Award
Awarded for a one-time contribution that has a direct or indirect benefit to students. The association must prove it was
indispensable to the initiative
2.3 Glory to Alma Mater Award
Awarded for being instrumental in bringing the institute positive media limelight. Measured by the quantum of positive
publicity.
Eligibility: Registered associations. Activities should establish synergy and strengthen the Jesuit Alumni network. Requires acknowledgement from the Principal and PCA.
3.1 Success in Synergy Award
For two or more associations that collaborated on an event. (More associations = higher weightage).

3.2 Supporting Spirit Award
For an association that extended support (time, effort, money) to help
another association grow.
3.3 Power Province Award
For the province with the most inter-alumni / inter-association
activities and meetings.
3.4 Congress Champion
For the non-host province with maximum registrations at the JAAI
National Congress, based on man-miles travelled.
