The Dorand Old Xaverians Association (DOX) conducted a vaccination drive on 16th January 2022 on the School Campus for the Precaution Booster dose for Senior Citizens.

Dr. Tharoor is an alumnus of St. Xavier's School, Park Steet Kolkata and Campion School Mumbai.

He recollected that he had come to SXD sometime in the 1970s to participate in an Inter-School Co-Curricular contest (elocution / extempore speech).

He answered some very interesting questions raised by the present students in an informal tete-a-tete.

His visit is a part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of SXD which shall culminate with the Grand Alumni Meet to be held on 18-19 December 2021.

Doranda Old Xaverians along with St. Xavier's School Doranda Organized a Blood Donation camp on 26th August 2021.

We are happy to share that we collected 28 units for the Thalassemia Day care center at Sadar Hospital, Ranchi. We would like to Thank Mr. Atul Gera, DOX 1997 and Team Lifesavers for the constant support in the DOX Blood donation camps.

We would like to acknowledge the support of Father Sanjay Kerketta, Father Ignatious, Father Fuldeo Soreng, Ashish Budhia, Vishal Patodia, Abhay Sagar Minz, Sanjay Patel, Arnab Bhattacharaya , Pratyush Jha and all the DOX Members & Donors who came forward for the camp today.

Doranda Old Xavierian and the Ranchi District Administration organized a Covid 19 vaccination drive for alumni and families at the St. Xavier's School Dorand, Ranchi campus on 6th June 2021.

Team DOX is happy to share that we have donated 11,000 units of stationary (Notebooks & Pencils) to Mr. Chhavi Ranjan IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi as a part of Mission One Million Smiles initiative of Ranchi District Administration. Doranda Old Xaverians (DOX), the Alumni associations of St. Xavier's School, Doranda organized a Blood donation camp at St. Xavier's School on 15th April 2020. Utsav Parashar, Secretary of DOX mentioned that a total of 26 units of blood was donated by Members and their friends. The blood collected will go to the day care center of Sadar Hospital for the Kids suffering from Thalassemia.

Life Savers Ranchi, an organization committed towards the cause of Blood donation partnered with DOX to make this event successful. Some of the highlights from this event was the venue was completely sanitized right before the Blood donation started. The Donors were Pre registered and were allotted time slots to avoid any crowd. Social distancing was observed throughout the duration of the camp and all the people working there were well equipped with Masks, Gloves and Sanitizers.
