Today, SOXA had the privilege of accepting the invitation of Rev. Fr. Hillary D’Souza to St. Xavier’s Collegiate School, Maharo, Dumka, to inspire the formation of MOXA (Maharo Old Xaverians Association).
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an insightful address by Rev. Fr. Arul Doss on the Jesuit Alumni network—from WUJA, JAAI, Central Zone and Dumka–Raiganj Province to individual alumni associations.
Prof.
Dr. Santosh Chowdhary, Vice-President, SOXA, highlighted the importance of a strong alumni body and staying connected to our alma mater.
I shared SOXA’s journey of service to society through health camps, free surgeries, student welfare initiatives, disaster relief, and continued support to our school and teachers.
On behalf of the Dumka–Raiganj Province and SOXA, Rev. Fr. Arul Doss assured our wholehearted support in the formation and strengthening of MOXA.
Together, we continue to build stronger alumni bonds and serve society with the true Xaverian spirit.
Long Live the Xaverian Spirit!
Regards
Dr Sumit Kumar,
Secretary, SOXA
