We are pleased to share that the Sahibganj Old Xaverians Association organized a reunion for our alumni at St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata today, and it turned out to be a successful event. The reunion provided a wonderful opportunity for our alumni to reconnect with old friends and reminisce about their school days. The event was held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and was attended by a significant number of Xaverians from various batches.

Our alumni were overjoyed to catch up with their former classmates and teachers, share stories and experiences, and celebrate the bond we share as members of the Xaverian family. The event was filled with laughter, joy, and plenty of cherished memories as alumni shared their experiences and caught up with one another.

We also officially recognized a WhatsApp Group for Kolkata alumni, which is an excellent way for us to stay connected and continue our conversations beyond the reunion.

Around 50 alumni members attended the event, which showcased the strong bonds that Xaverians share, and the importance of staying connected with each other. We are grateful for the enthusiastic response and look forward to organizing more such events in the future.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Fr. Dominic Savio S.J., the Principal of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata who is also the President, St. Xavier’s College (Calcutta) Alumni Association, for kindly allowing us to use the college premises as the venue and addressing our alumni. We also thank Rev. Fr. Hillary D’Souza SJ for liaising between the college and us for the venue. Our Province Coordinator for Alumni, Rev. Fr. Alban Minj SJ, was in regular touch with us for follow-ups on the planning and joined us at the event, for which we are thankful.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Arul Doss SJ, the President of SOXA, for graciously dedicating his valuable time to the extended family.

It was an incredible opportunity for some of our alumni/ae from St. Xavier’s School, Sahibganj, who are also students &/or alumni/ae of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. This reunion gave us a chance to celebrate our membership in not one but two prestigious institutions, which made us feel even more proud.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us during the event and made it a memorable one.
