Basketball fever gripped Jaipur as Rajasthan University (RU) and Oil India, Jodhpur clinched top honors in the 35th Xavier’s Super League Basketball Championship held at St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur.
In an exciting women’s final, RU outplayed Tripal Street with a 18–13 victory, demonstrating excellent teamwork and control throughout the match.
Meanwhile, in the men’s championship clash, Oil India staged a spectacular comeback to defeat Rajasthan Police 67–54. Despite trailing by one point at halftime, the Jodhpur-based team dominated the second half with sharp shooting and strong defense to secure the title.
Chief Guest Honors Winners
The chief guest, Sunil Mehta, a national-level basketball player, presented medals and cash prizes to the winning and runner-up teams. His presence added prestige to the tournament, encouraging young players to pursue the sport with dedication.
