St Aloysius (Deemed to Be University) organised an Endowment Lecture on Role of Education in National Development on 14th September 2024 at Fr L F Rasquinha Hall, LCRI Block by Prof Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Former Chairman of AICTE, Chairman (NETF).

The speaker delivered profound insights and illuminated the crucial ways in which education shapes the future of our nation. As education is the powerful weapon in nation building, he suggested implementing several best practices in the institutions.

Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe was honoured with a special felicitation to recognize his significant contributions to education and national development.

Following the talk, students engaged in an interactive session with the speaker.  Rev Fr Melwyn Joseph Pinto SJ, Pro Chancellor, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) presided over the programme. Rev Dr Praveen Martis SJ, Vice Chancellor, Registrars Dr Ronald Nazareth and Dr Alwyn DSa, Rev Fr Vishwas Misquith SJ, Finance Officer and Dr Rachael Natasha Mary, coordinator of the programme were present on the dais.

Following the Endowment Talk, Professor Anil Sahasrabuddhe engaged with members of the staff council where he emphasized three crucial aspects within an institution: teaching, research, and administration. He highlighted the importance of having a clear vision and personal strategy for career advancement. The session was both enriching and impactful, offering valuable insights and solutions.
