Doranda Old Xaverians, the alumni association of St. Xavier’s School Doranda Organized  a Tree Plantation Campaign by the Name – Plant for the Planet. This program was held on Wednesday,  8th July 2020 in the hills behind Hill view Hospital, bariatu. More than 1000 trees were planted as a part of this Initiative.

Shree Rameshwar Oraon (Finance Minister – Govt of Jharkhand) and Father Sanjay Kerketta (Principal – St. Xavier’s School, Doranda) were the chief guests for the event. Amongst the members present were past presidents of DOX – Mr. Shivendra Mohan Sharma, Mr. Sumit Khemka and Mr. Vishal Jain. DOX President, Dr. Nitesh Priya lead this event and members of the Executive team present were Rahul Jain, Ashish Budhia, Vishal Patodia, Nishit Chopra, Atul Agarwal and Utsav Parashar.  Other DOX members who were instrumental in making this event successful were Nikhil Poddar, Atul Gera, Abhay Minz, Sanjay Patel, Alok Minocha, Arnab Bhattacharaya, Manish Oraon, Chiranjit Paul, Utkarsh Mishra, Dr. Anshu Sahu, Samir Kathpal, Rajat Vimal, Tirthankar Bose, Akshat Anand and Aditya Bajaj.
