Republic Day 2026 was celebrated with pride and patriotism on the St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall grounds, beginning with the flag unfurling at 8.15 am, followed by a program by the students who gave meaning to the same.

Our own internationally acclaimed maestro Vikram Hazra was the chief guest, his inspiring words and rendering of some of his most popular bhajans made it more fulfilling and memorable.

The annual APX vs HLCAA cricket match followed and was a thriller of a game. It was the 19th edition and two premier alumni/ae associations coming together for two decades now is a huge story, speaks a lot about the bonding, bonhomie, banter, networking and collaborating for a purpose, to give back to the Alma Mater and also contribute in various scopes and be that cutting edge, to give and not to count the cost.

APX won an evenly contested game and the players and cheering alumni/ae bonded over lunch. A warm vibe on a windy winter morning it was. Team APX 💐
