The 79th Independence Day was celebrated on the St.Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall grounds with great pride, passion & enthusiasm. The Tricolour was hoisted at 9 am followed by a program by the students. 

The Chief Guest for today’s Flag Hoisting was our own APX member Commandant Devansh Trivedi (Tat Rakshak Awardee – President Medal) Retd, a highly decorated one and a committed alum of the institute.

Thereafter the much awaited APX vs School team football match was played, this being an annual feature on 15th Aug since two decades now, a cracker of a game it was as well with the past pipping the present 2-1 in a contest ahead over two halves of 35 min each, auguring well for th future of the young budding athletes gaining in experience in real match time. Thereafter game was followed by refreshments.

Indeed a fulfilling morning, well attended by the management, staff and students, alumni/ae, parents and benefactors. An apt way to celebrate Independence Day, where all stakeholders of the institute were present and partook in the proceedings.
