An apt celebration of the Valentine’s Day it was, celebrating love, nostalgia, friendship, fellowship and much more as yet another joint program was organised by the alumni associations of St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall (APX), and the HL college of commerce (HLCAA).
This time the backdrop was a (musical) Karaoke evening, hosted by the HLCAA and some 30 alumni/ae were singing songs as nostalgia and joy became the ingredients bringing a flood of memories and new ones being created as well.
Icing on the cake was a surprise unfolded by the APX as their star singer Miranda came by and regaled the audience with her rendering bringing much applause and appreciation, and each performer in fact was appreciated and the auditorium which was full, had a fulfilling evening.
Some 100 alumni/ae enjoyed the evening and the curtains were drawn after dinner, the bonhomie and banter lasted a good four hours and a promise was made to do this more often and ensure double the attendance for more fun and revelry.
Time endears but cannot fade the memories that friends have made, these words rang true and more plans are already in the pipeline, watch this space for more action, reliving the past and creating more magic for stories to be shared in times to come. Team APX 💐
