The spirit of “Men and Women for Others” was beautifully exemplified at the Annual Blood Donation Camp jointly organised by Loyola School and Loyola Alumni Association, Jamshedpur, in honour of the school’s patron, St. Ignatius of Loyola.

The camp received an overwhelming response, with more than 100 volunteers from the Loyola community and well-wishers coming forward with the noble intention of donating blood. Following the necessary medical screening, 71 units of blood were successfully collected.

The initiative brought together Loyoleans, parents, students, staff, alumni and well-wishers, reflecting the strong sense of community and service that lies at the heart of the Loyola tradition. Every unit donated represents a potential gift of life to someone in need.

The organisers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the donors and volunteers whose generosity and commitment made the camp a meaningful success. The event once again demonstrated that the Loyola spirit extends far beyond the classroom and into the community through compassion, service and selflessness.
