About the Federation of Jesuit Alumni Associations of India (JAAI)
The Federation of Jesuit Alumni Associations of India (JAAI) is a national collective of former students of Jesuit educational institutions across India. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition of forming “men and women for others,” JAAI brings together alumni who seek not only to remain connected with their alma maters but also to translate their education into meaningful service for society.
Who We Are
JAAI serves as the coordinating body for Jesuit alumni associations in India, providing a platform for collaboration, leadership development, and social engagement. With membership extending across schools, colleges, and universities, JAAI represents one of the largest networks of Jesuit-educated individuals in the world.
Our Mission
JAAI exists to:
- Strengthen bonds among Jesuit alumni across regions and generations
- Promote the values of justice, integrity, and service learned in Jesuit institutions
- Support initiatives that uplift marginalized communities
- Encourage personal and professional growth among members
- Foster collaboration with Jesuit provinces, institutions, and global alumni bodies

What We Do
JAAI and its member associations engage in a wide range of activities, including:
- Community Service & Outreach: programs for education, health, rural development, and empowerment of the disadvantaged
- Networking & Collaboration: national and regional conventions, seminars, and alumni meets
- Leadership & Youth Engagement: mentoring, training programs, and opportunities for Jesuit students and young alumni
- Partnerships: collaboration with Jesuit institutions, civil-society organizations, and the worldwide Jesuit Alumni network (Wuja)
