Doranda Old Xaverians, Ranchi (DOX) organized a fantastic musical evening in association with SPIC-MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music, Art and Culture Amongst Youth) on Sunday, 6th September 2015 at the School Auditorium of St. Xavier’s School, Doranda, Ranchi.

The performance was presented by the world renowned Mohan Veena Maestro Pundit Salil Bhatt. He was accompanied on Tabla by the nationally famous percussionist Pundit Kaushik Ji.

The program of two hours was well attended by students of St. Xavier’s School, their parents and guardians, Teachers and Staff of the School and DOX members.

The objective of the program : To Expose and Indoctrine Xaverian Students and their Families to the richness and heritage of Indian Classical Music, Art and Culture; was well accomplished by the presence and exuberant & spell-binding performance of the duo classical maestros.
