Doranda Old Xaverians (DOX), the Alumni associations of St. Xavier’s School, Doranda organized a Blood donation camp at St. Xavier’s School on 15th April 2020. Utsav Parashar, Secretary of DOX mentioned that a total of 26 units of blood was donated by Members and their friends. The blood collected will go to the day care center of Sadar Hospital for the Kids suffering from Thalassemia.

Life Savers Ranchi, an organization committed towards the cause of Blood donation partnered with DOX to make this event successful. Some of the highlights from this event was the venue was completely sanitized right before the Blood donation started. The Donors were Pre registered and were allotted time slots to avoid any crowd. Social distancing was observed throughout the duration of the camp and all the people working there were well equipped with Masks, Gloves and Sanitizers.

One of our Trustee, Dr. Devendra Singh donated for the 96th time and was accompanied by his wife Dalbir Kaur who also donated blood. Dr. Nitesh Priya, President – DOX was supervising the camp and expressed our Thankfulness and Gratitude to all the donors for coming forward to donate blood. Father Ajit Xess appreciated DOX for working towards the Society in all possible ways to save human life and bring dignity and respect to humans. Members of the Executive Committe present were Ashish Budhia (Vice President), Vishal Patodia (Vice President), Deepak Garodia (Treasurer), Nishit Chopra (Joint Secretary) and Utsav Parashar (Secretary) and the following DOX Members . Atul Gera, Rajat Vimal, Arnab Bhattacharaya, Gaurav Maheshwari and Other DOX Members worked Hard in making this camp successful.

संत जेवियर्स स्कूल डोरंडा के पूर्ववर्ती छात्रों का संघठन, डोरंडा ओल्ड जवेरियंस (डॉक्स) ने आज. १५ अप्रैल को स्कूल में रक्तदान शिविर का आयोजन किया | डॉक्स के सचिव, उत्सव पराशर ने ये जानकारी दी की शिविर में छब्बीस यूनिट जमा किया गया | आज का रक्तदान शिविर थैलेसीमिया से पीड़ित बच्चों के लिए किया गया था जिनका इलाज सदर अस्पताल के देखभाल केन्द्र में हो रहा है | लाइफ सवर्स रांची के पूरी टीम ने डॉक्स का साथ दिया और रक्तदान शिविर को सफल बनाने में सहभागी रहे| आज का रक्तदान शिविर बहुत ख़ास इसलिए भी रहा की रक्तदान शुरू होने से पहले पुरे जगह को सनिटीज़ कर के स्वच्छ किया गया | रक्त दाताओं का पहले से पंजीकरण किया गया था और उनको २-२ घंटो के टाइम स्लॉट में बांटा गया था ताकि ज़्यादा भीड़ इक्कठा न हो | सोशल डिस्टन्सिंग का भी ख़ास ख्याल रखा गया था | रक्तदान शिविर में आये सभी लोग मास्क , सनिटिज़ेर और दस्ताना पहने हुए थे और स्वच्छता का ख़ास ख़याल रखा गया था | डॉक्स के ट्रस्टी डॉ. देवेंद्र सिंह का ९६ रक्तदान था और उनकी पत्नी श्रीमती दलबीर कौर ने भी रक्तदान कर के उनका साथ दिया | डॉक्स के अध्यक्ष, डॉक्टर नितेश प्रिय ने पुरे शिविर की ख़ास निगरानी राखी थी और उन्होंने सभी रक्तदाताओं को धन्यवाद दिया | संत जेवियर स्कूल के प्राचार्य, फादर अजित खेस ने डॉक्स के सदस्यों को बधाई दी और आगे भी ऐसे सामाजिक कार्य करने के लिए उत्साहित किया | उन्होंने डॉक्स के इस कार्य की सराहना की और कहा की संस्था को इसी तरह मानवता के सेवा और सम्मान के लिए कार्य करते रहना चाहिए | इस अवसर पर डॉक्स के कार्यकारिणी के सदस्य आशीष बुधिया, विशाल पाटोदिया, दीपक गड़ोदिया, निशित चोपड़ा और उत्सव पराशर उपस्थित थे | इस शिविर को सफल बनाने में डॉक्स के अतुल गेरा, रजत विमल , अर्नब भट्टाचार्य, कौशल राय , संजय पटेल , करण पटेल , गौरव माहेश्वरी, मानव मुख़र्जी, नितिन रवि , आदित्य बजाज, सिद्धार्थ बजाज, पलाश मित्रा , पार्थ जालान, शुभम गुप्ता, सिद्धार्थ भाटिया एवं अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित थे | =================== Utsav Parashar 9386113777 Secretary – DOX
