An orientation/awareness session was organized for office bearers of alumni associations of Patna Jesuit Province on Sunday, 19 May 2024 at St. Xavier's High School, Patna as per the JAAI calendar of activities.

The Province Coordinator for Alumni/ae Reverend Fr. Peter B. Arockiasamy SJ in his opening remarks highlighted the importance of alumni association and the role of office bearers in its success. He asked the members of JAAP (Jesuit Alumni Association of Patna Province) to meet frequently so that collaborative activities are implemented on a regular basis.

Later, a powerpoint and a video was presented by the President, JAAI Shri Neel Mani Rangesh and informed about the vision, objectives, structure, current and future activities of JAAI in detail. He also emphasized the role of office bearers in spreading awareness about JAAI and its activities among Jesuit Alumni.

He also urged the office bearers to encourage members to actively participate in all the activities and meetings of JAAI. He also requested the active alumni association to support the nascent and dormant alumni association to make them active and self-reliant.

He also suggested JAAP active members to visit other Jesuit institutions of the province where currently there is no alumni association or association not active or member of JAAI.

The meeting ended with a pool side party with music, street foods, entertainment, games and fun.
