Flag hoisting was held on St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad premises where students, staff, management , alumni and parents were present observing strict Covid protocol and safety measures.

This was followed by the annual cricket match between APX ( Association of Past Xavierites ) & HL ( premier Commerce college in Ahmedabad )almuni. Many ex-Xavierites took part in a car rally organised by the Vintage car association & a leading club of the city. An apt way to celebrate the Republic Day. #staysafe #stayunited #jaihind

Responding to an urgent request by the District Education Officer due to a shortage of blood in the Civil Hospital, our school organised a blood donation camp on the school premises today, Thursday, 8-October from 9 am to 2 pm. Despite this short notice ( notified yesterday only ) alum & parents came forward to be a part of this noble cause in large numbers. All necessary Covid precautions were taken and the Covid SOP’s were followed. Stay safe! Regards, The APX Team

Today 22- sept- 20 , the Loyola Ex Students Association joined hands with the Rotary Club Margao Midtown for a blood donation drive at the Clube Harmonia de Margao

It was heartening to note that 42 donors braved the rains , covid and donated blood

Our two young Loyola Jesuit Priests Fr Jimmy and Fr. Orville donated as well

A special mention to our ex- student and blood doner Mr Ubaldino(tudor) Dias, who has donated over 70 times.

Doranda Old Xaverians, the alumni association of St. Xavier's School Doranda Organized  a Tree Plantation Campaign by the Name - Plant for the Planet. This program was held on Wednesday,  8th July 2020 in the hills behind Hill view Hospital, bariatu. More than 1000 trees were planted as a part of this Initiative.

Jesuit Alumni Associations of India (JAAI) offered relief for the economically weaker section of the society affected by COVID-19 pandemic lock down. S.Chenthilkumar, President of Jesuit Alumni Associations Of India (JAAI) distributed on 31st May 2020 edible oil packs to more than 250 beneficiaries in and around Woraiyur area of Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu.

Our illustrious Jesuit Alumnus Hon’ble S.Thirunavukarasar, Member of Parliament (Loksabha) of Tiruchirapalli Constituency was the Chief Guest.  The function was graced by Rev.Fr.Rufus SJ, Director of St.Joseph’s College Alumni Association and Rev.Fr.Elangeswaran SJ, Director & Correspondent of St.Joseph’s College Higher Secondary School Alumni Association. Prof.Benjamin Elango, Prof. Ravindran from St.Joseph’s College Alumni Association graced the occasion.
