A Heartfelt Initiative by a Group of Xavierites from the Batch of 1977
True gratitude often finds expression through meaningful action-and a remarkable group of Xavierites from the Batch of 1977 of St. Xavier's High School, Surat has done just that. Inspired by the values instilled in them during their formative years, they have embraced a noble mission: to give back to the very institution and individuals who helped shape their lives.
In recognition of the lifelong dedication of their former teachers, this group has, over the years, extended unwavering support to retired staff members. With quiet consistency, they have provided monthly financial assistance and stepped in during medical emergencies, offering help with compassion and dignity. Their care has brought not only material support but also a deep sense of respect and gratitude to those who once shaped so many young minds.
The inaugural season of the Loyola Alumni Premier League (LAPL) - Season 1 concluded on a high note, marking a memorable chapter in the history of Loyola Alumni engagement and sportsmanship. The annual table tennis carnival it was, from 8.30 am onwards and APX ( Association of Past Xavierites) as well as HLCAA ( HL college alumni/ae Association) members partook in this making this a fulfilling Sunday.
Reliving those past yesteryears, recollecting old memories whilst making new ones, networking & bonding were evident which is the main purpose and motive of any alumni/ae association.
We had winners who were given medals and all participants received participation certificates. There were no losers and all participants soaked in the revelry and pledged to do this more often.
