Saturday, 1st October 2022, NAVRATRI revelry on the St.Xavier's High School Loyola Hall grounds, after a hiatus of 2 years due to Covid.

A fulfilling evening & a well attended one it was, with over 7500 participants including students, staff, management, parents, alumni & friends making it a memorable celebration. The class competition kick started the proceedings followed by the AARTI and then open to all the guests and participants on the ground.

The bonding & coordination of the alumni, staff, management & students and parents was visible and this is what made it all the more meaningful.

Wishing our respected Jesuits & all teachers on Teacher’s Day.

The St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad celebrated this day from 8am onwards with the Primary section first and the Higher sections did the same from 10am onwards.

Retiring teachers were felicitated & the students put up various sequences to show their love and respect for the teachers.

The APX members partook in the revelry and joined the students & parents in wishing the teachers. The celebration was capped with the alum hosting the staff to a delicious lunch.

Indeed a fulfilling & productive celebration. Team APX

APX member Monesh Mashruwala Played the World Racketlon Championships 2022 held at Vienna, Austria - where he and and his partner won the 50+ Doubles world Title!!

Racketlon is a sport where each person competes by playing 4 sports - TT, Badminton, Squash & Tennis - each game upto 21 points and the person/pair scoring most points is the winner.

It’s an amazing and proud achievement.

Doranda Old Xaverians (DOX) has finally launched a Support System (Covid19 Scholarship) for the students of St. Xavier's School Doranda who lost their father/mother in one case both the parents during Covid19 Pandemic.

The main purpose of this project is to accompany the students in their studies and assist moral support till they are comfortable. The parents felt much consoled having found school & DOX as their extended family.

Thanks to DOX for their great generosity and magnanimous hearts. May God bless the families of all the donors and well wishers

Independence Day Celebrations at St.Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad. A vintage car drive left the management, students, staff, parents and alumni spellbound after the serene Flag Hoisting. A program by the students and the annual ‘APX’ vs ‘School football team’ match was witnessed by all present.

The presence of the management & staff, students, parents and alumni made it a fulfilling I-Day celebration.

To mark the 75 years of our country's Independence, Prof Edmund Frank donated 100 chairs to the Mangalore District Prison Superintendent in phase one to equip a hundred seater study hall inside the prison to assist school and college drop outs to pursue their studies and also to train prisoners in self employment trades to help in their rehabilitation after their release.
