Festival of sky colour Gujarat's own Patang Mohtsav was celebrated today ie 13th Jan 2025 by Texas with Mentally challenged Childrens of Mamta School, Hearing challeged chuldren of Vikas Trust along with our school students, Staff & non teaching staff. 
Childrens were provided by Kites & Phirkis. Childrens flew kites & Dance with DJ music.

St. Xavier's School, Doranda, Ranchi hosted the Belgian Student Exchange Program delegation last week at Ranchi. 

The delegation visited New Delhi, Agra (The Taj Mahal, The Red Fort and the Fatehpur Sikri Historic Moghul Township), Ranchi and Kolkata. 

At Ranchi, the students and the accompanying teachers from Belgium were hosted by SXD's student families. Visiting children immersed in the experience of Indial lifestyle, culture and culinary habits, the Indian School Education system and co-curricular activities. 

They were take out for social service to the slums from where the outreach children receive alternate education at SXD, and were also taken out for an excursion to see the rural lifestyle of the local tribal communities. 

An overall enriching experience for the entire Student Exchange Group ! 

"International & Domestic Student Exchange" is one of the flagship programs of JAAI.

For the first time in its 144-year history, St Aloysius College hosted an exciting treasure hunt exclusively for its alumni on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Organized under the banner of the St Aloysius College Alumni Association (SAACA), the event brought together alumni from various generations, fostering camaraderie and nostalgia.  

The event was inaugurated by Fr Melwin Pinto, Rector of St Aloysius College, who flagged off the first car at 8:00 AM. The event was convened by Sumith S. Rao, with the support of Anil Kumar J., President of SAACA..  

A total of about 20 teams, each comprising four members, participated with great enthusiasm. The event featured participants from diverse age groups, including children as young as four and a spirited 84-year-old alumnus, Mr. Winston. Families and individuals joined hands for this fun-filled and intellectually stimulating challenge, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.

GSFA ( Gujarat State Football Association) just concluded its Baby League 2024. St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall Ahmedabad was the venue partner & APX members also raised their hands in various scopes to make this league seamless and large. 

29 teams from across Gujarat partook ( 21 club & 8 district) in the tournament where 450 players displayed their skills in the 106 matches played over weekends for one and a half month.

Christmas celebrations at the St. Xavier’s High School Surat today with School staff, management & alumni/ae. 

The alumni members of the institute gathered for a joyous Christmas celebration, rekindling old memories and fostering camaraderie.

The celebration concluded with a delightful feast and the promise of staying connected, making it a heartwarming reunion filled with the spirit of Christmas.

Under the leadership , guidance and blessings of Rev Fr. Dr. Dominic Savio S.J., Principal,St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Calcutta and President, St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association(SXCCAA), the 2nd part of the flagship philanthropic initiative LET’S SHARE CARE was held on 22nd December 2024 at Paikhala Primary School and Raghabpur campus of St. Xaviers’s College ( Autonomous) , Calcutta where we distrubuted specially designed Christmas Goodie bags comprising of 18 -20 items to more than 550 children from Paikhala, Debipur,Raghabpur,  Magurkhali and Bakeswar . 

This event could not have been possible with out the active support  and contribution of some of our Alumni members .
