APX (Association of Past Xavierites) recently facilitated a substance/Drug awareness/prevention drive, for the students of STD 6th of  St.Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall. The program was conducted  by the students of Std 11th from the  prestigious school AIS as part of their project. 

Necessary information was shared and so many queries were raised by the young students which brought both, concern as well as hope for the youngest generation, this is one of the most important issues and we all should raise hands and try cleanse the environment of this evil. 

The management (I/c Principal & staff) of the Primary section was most supportive and are doing their best to educate the students about these evil addictions which are a curse and bane to the families and society as well.

Sunday morning ( 23rd Feb ) saw APX take on a visiting football team ( comprising of some ex- Xavierites and guest players ). 

Two halves of 40 min each saw some high octane football and though the result doesn’t matter, APX won the match. 

Refreshments were served after the final whistle and both teams bonded over the same. 

Team APX is always on the front foot and cricket & football and more are a reason to be on the campus on Sunday mornings.

World Day of Social Justice (Social Justice Equality Day) is an international day recognizing the need to promote social justice, which includes efforts to tackle issues such as poverty, exclusion, gender inequality, unemployment, human rights, and social protections.

The World Day of Social Justice 2025 theme is “Empowering Inclusion: Bridging Gaps Of Social Justice,” focusing on the importance of inclusive policies and social protection in managing systematic inequality. 

Social justice is the best means to secure the common good. If you want peace and development, work for social justice.

On February 15th, St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad's Alumni Association (TOXA) hosted its second season of TOXA 3x3 Basketball Tournament for the current students and alumni.

The event featured 12 teams, 12 league games, and 7 knockout games played over 10 hours. The sponsor for the event was an alumnus of the college, Mr. Angadjit Singh Suri. The championship was won by ‘Science Swaggers’ led by Jayrajsinh Champavat.

Individual accolades included Suhail Shaikh as Most Valuable Player, Vishwa Panchal as Best Hooper, and Rahul for Best Defense. Dhaval Joshi won the Dunk Contest, while Jayrajsinh secured the Best Alumni Award. Winners received prizes from sponsors, including Dastarkhan, Nuutjob, and NX Health.

More than 400 sports enthusiasts from various batches, current students, friends, and family members witnessed this energizing day & night tournament.

Today a medical camp was organised at Loyola school Rerua ahead of Dhalbhumgarh . A total of 260 patients were examined and free medicines were distributed. 

The camp  was attended by Father Vinod Fernandes, Rajiv Talwar, Savak Patel, Pratim Banerjee, Iqbal Alam, Vivek Jha, Anupam Sinha, Gaurav Rungta, Ushma Dutta, Gunjan Mishal, Haren Rupani, Rahul Debuka.

A team of doctors who are present, there were Dr Joy, Dr Anand , Dr Nanda , Dr Rajnish, Dr Firoz, Dr Ajay Agarwa and Nilesh Raj.
