Under the leadership , guidance and blessings of Rev Fr. Dr. Dominic Savio S.J., Principal,St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Calcutta and President, St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association(SXCCAA), the 2nd part of the flagship philanthropic initiative LET’S SHARE CARE was held on 22nd December 2024 at Paikhala Primary School and Raghabpur campus of St. Xaviers’s College ( Autonomous) , Calcutta where we distrubuted specially designed Christmas Goodie bags comprising of 18 -20 items to more than 550 children from Paikhala, Debipur,Raghabpur,  Magurkhali and Bakeswar . 

This event could not have been possible with out the active support  and contribution of some of our Alumni members .

TOXA organised Alumni Dinner on 21st December at St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad Football Lawns. The alumni were very happy, waving at each other, as they met their batchmates, seniors, and professors at this novel initiative by our alumni association.
 

Principal and alumnus of the college, Fr. Vinayak Jadav, warmly welcomed everyone and expressed his happiness on seeing everyone together. Nearly 300 alumni members enjoyed having dinner with each other, evoking nostalgia.

The Loyola Ex Student's Association (LESA) contributed Rs 10,000/- to Dr Rafael Pereira's Asilo Old Aged Home under the patronage of St Joseph Vaz managed by the sisters of the congregation of the Handmaids of Christ.

The contribution was made during an annual Christmas visit to the old aged home by LESA Sectetary Mr Armindo Gonsalves.

Thanked LESA in a very special way along with blessings from the entire house for the generous contribution that would help them look after the less fortunate.

The St.Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall ( Primary Section ) had their 90th Sports Day on Sunday, December 8th.

APX led the March -Past and also partook in the 100 meters sprint and Cycle Race.

It was a fulfilling Sunday morning with all stakeholders and collaborators present, Management, Staff, Students, Alumni/ae, Parents and Benefactors all coming together and celebrating unity, harmony & inclusiveness via the most binding platform, SPORTS.

The Chief Guest Justice Mr. Niral Mehta, High Court of Gujarat was also an alumnus making it so much more meaningful - Team APX
